Alright, this week we decided to go along with a popular trend right now – fidget spinners, except ours are paper spinners and fun to color ;-). The template will make one spinner. If you want more than one, just print the template as many times as you wish.
There are a few supplies you will need:
- Glue stick
- Bakers Twine
- Paper (heavy weight/durable)
- Coloring supplies:
- Paper Spinners Template
First, print off your template.
You can pick up your free template here:

All printed? Great! Now it’s time to COLOR! I used sharpies for mine, but you can use anything you’d like. Colored pencils, gel pens, markers – whatever makes your heart happy 🙂
This is what mine looked like after coloring:
Now it’s time to cut out the circles. Once you have them cut out, trace a circle on cardboard:
Take your glue stick and put glue all over the cardboard and paste one circle cutout on one side. Flip cardboard over and repeat process on other side:
Take your scissors and poke two holes in the center of the cardboard. Now feed the twine through the holes. And voila, you now have a paper spinner to play with:
If you pull the string just right, your spinner should make a humming noise.
