It’s that time again – another fun coloring project here at ColorMonthly. This week our coloring craft project is to make a summer strawberry card.
There are a few supplies you will need:
- Strawberry template
- Glue stick (or tape)
- Previously colored coloring pages
First, print off your template.
You can pick up your free template here:
=====> Summer Strawberry Card
All printed? Great!
NOTE: You will NOT actually be coloring the template. Instead, you’ll be using one of this month’s coloring pages or a previous month’s coloring page you’ve already colored (awesome way to recycle some of those already colored pages!)
Now it’s time to cute out the template. Cut out the strawberry and the stem:
Now gather a couple of your colored coloring pages:
Now grab the colored coloring page you chose to use for the stem. Place the stem template on the back of the coloring page and trace:
Once you remove the template, it’ll look like this:
Cut the stem out (in this pic you see the blank stem template and then the stem we just cut out of the colored page):
Now do the same with the strawberry portion of the template you cut out (trace it on the colored page you chose to use). I used this one because it was reddish color:
Now that you have both the strawberry and the stem cut out, they’re ready to be assembled. Put the stem on the bottom (biggest) portion of the strawberry and stick it using either a glue stick or tape:
That’s it. Easy peasy 🙂 But don’t forget to display it now:
